How to protect your ipQuants account

Change your password

Consider changing your password on the Manage Account tab and then select Change Password. Make sure you select a strong password and do not re-use a password.

Best practise recommends to change the password from time to time. 

ipQuants is committed to providing the highest security possible. For this reasons, all users can - free of charge - activate two-factor authentication (See below).

Enable two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. Every time you sign in to your ipQuants account, you have to enter a one-time, time-limited code generated from a supported mobile app. The ipQuants provided two-factor authentication functionality requires either Goggle Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. This is a highly effective way to protect your account from unauthorised access.

Go to the Manage Account tab (yellow arrow) and the select 2FA Two Factor Authentication (red allow). To enable 2FA click on the Enable 2FA (purple arrow) button and follow the instructions.
